Identifying
Potential Sources of Funding: CAAS
has been without "core" or program funding since June,
2001 when the Department of Indian Affairs announced changed
priorities and redirected funding away from their Public Education
Unit. We have been without ANY kind of funding since December
31, 2001 when we concluded the Student Awareness Study report
for the Canadian Race Relations Foundation. If you have any
ideas about how we can get some financial support
for our national grassroots network, please contact us - caas@edu.yorku.ca
- Joining
our Advisory Group for the Help Line:
Have you been at this for a while? Are you ready to help with
mentoring others? Classroom teachers, parents and others needing
advice and resources contact us for support and ideas. If you
feel you could help with this, please let us know. We can particularly
use specialists in sciences, Aboriginal languages, and other fields
that provide creative scope for integration of Aboriginal-perspective
content across the curriculum. Contact caas@edu.yorku.ca
